AVD: YubiKey Single Sign-On Experience

I’ve been asked a number of times if Azure Virtual Desktop (in general and) in Azure Government works with Yubikey devices… AND IT DOES!

Here’s a quick video of the sign on experience going to a Hybrid AD joined VM:

You can see at the end of the video I can access an SMB share with no trouble at all (the share is already mapped in the VM as part of the log in to AD… and shows directories I’ve downloaded public ESRI data sets).
